The university is overall a good place to work with good benefits. However, it is a large entity with many departments. So, your experience will vary. Find out as much as you can about who you will be working with.
This is a good place to work. Depends on your roles. The work culture is positive. If you are postdoc you will not get the full benefits. That is a down side.
The people were all very nice. The opportunity for a pay raise and/or advancement is limited. People are not paid what they are worth. HR was a nightmare to deal with as everything seemed to take an obnoxious amount of time to get done.
Great place to gain experience but compensation is not worthy of workload. Great management but not enough care about the employees. Nice tuition assistance and semi good benefits.
Great benefits and special perks. Great tuition reimbursement. Management is caring and helpful. They believe in taking accountability so if you dont then it isnt for you.
JHU has a great academic environment. I feel supported in my job and there is a lot of flexibility for teachers. Reasonable pay though it could increase some.
