Set in a 40-acre zoological park, the Montgomery Zoo is home to over 750 animals representing over 140 species.

With Montgomery Zoo exhibits from five continents, Montgomery Zoo animals include black swans and red kangaroos from Australia, Egyptian goose and ostrich from Africa, Axis deer and Bengal tiger from Asia, wood duck and maned wolf from South America, and bison and white-tailed deer from North America.

The zoo is accompanied by the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum where guests can touch the furs of animals on display.

Starting from $99.00, Montgomery Zoo Membership provides free entry to the zoo year-round. Below are the fees for various annual memberships at the zoo –

Parakeet Cove

  • FREE Entry with paid zoo admission.
  • Feed sticks are $2 per stick.
  • Open daily, 9 am – 10 am and 1 pm – 2 pm

Giraffe Encounter Post

  • $3 per person & guests 2 years and younger are FREE.
  • All guests visiting encounter must pay an admission fee.
  • Open daily, 10:30 am – 11:30 am and 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

Waters of the World

  • FREE entry with paid zoo admission. 
  • Enjoy an animal encounter of the wet kind.
  • Take a tour through Waters of the World enjoying an assortment of freshwater fish, stingrays, turtles, and water plant life.

Train Ride
