Koala Territory

  • Four Koalas- Goonaroo, Tanami, and Alinga provide excellent viewing.
  • This exhibit operates on reduced hours.

Wee Beasties

  • Added in 2017, Wee Beasties provides a chance to explore distinctive species worldwide and get closer to reptiles, insects, and amphibians.
  • Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
  • Edinburgh Zoo Wee Beasties exhibit is behind Penguin Rock.

Wallaby Outback

  • Located right next to the Koala Territory.

Facilities at Edinburgh Zoo

  • Wheelchair Loan: Free manual wheelchairs. Offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Mobility Scooters: Disabled guests can hire a mobility scooter for £10 per day.
  • Pushchair Hire:  pushchair-friendly Gardens, hired for children aged 1-6 at the main entrance. It costs just £10 for a single or double pushchair for the day.
